We all use the digital world for multiple purposes: chatting with friends, learning a new skill, staying up to date on the latest news, you name it. But what we also like to do, is playing video games. In general, most games are extremely visual. Therefore, this may cause some challenges for people with a visual impairment. Luckily, technology is becoming more and more accessible. This enables everyone to enjoy some games online. This blog is a dedication to the five best video games for blind and visually impaired people!
Truly Audio Focused
Many of these games make use of binaural audio to truly transform these audio games and make them more realistic. Binaural audio, also known as 3D audio, is made to enhance the experience. When listening to binaural audio, each ear picks up separate sounds and the sound changes as the listener moves their head. This results in being able to hear certain sounds coming from all angles. You are not only hearing sounds from the sides. You can hear sounds from the front, above, behind or below you. This effect makes the sounds more realistic, and it feels like, whatever you hear, is actually near you. Because of this, we highly recommend you to play these games while using a headset.
Now without further ado, let's dive into 5 of these great games.
