The image shows a smartphone with a WhatsApp chat on the left and a hand holding a black Hable One device on the right, featuring six white Braille buttons. The text above reads, "Type 400% FASTER!" indicating that the Hable One allows for faster typing.

Type with accuracy

Real buttons make typing so natural you don't need to wait to get back to your computer to write that long note, edit document or get your ideas out.

The image shows a close-up of the Hable One device, focusing on three of its Braille buttons. Next to each button, there are labels indicating specific actions: "Dot 3" is labeled with "Hang up a Call," "Dot 1" with "Pause VoiceOver," and "Dot 2" with "Dictate." The buttons are white and circular, and the labels show shortcuts for blind and visually impaired users to efficiently control their phones using the Hable One device.

Get stuff done

The shortcuts make using your phone easier by eliminating the need to swipe.

With over 100 shortcuts, you are in control.

The image shows a Hable One device partially tucked into a pocket, highlighting its compact size. To the right, there are icons of a smartphone and the Hable One device side by side, with the text "Small and PORTABLE!" The comparison suggests that the Hable One is smaller than a phone, making it easy to carry and convenient for on-the-go use.

Take it anywhere

The keyboard is smaller than a smartphone, yet the buttons remain comfortably sized. Its compact design makes it highly portable, perfect for typing on the go, even while standing.

In love with my Hable One. Just Perfect.

The Hable One is a game-changer. This compact device has made smartphone navigation effortless, even when your phone is in your bag or pocket, a safer way to use your phone when on the go which made me feel much less vulnerable using my smartphone in public. Intuitive commands make the Hable easy to learn, providing a easier alternative to using gestures with voiceover. Was great for brushing up my braille skills too, although you do not need to know braille to benefit from this device. I honestly cannot fault the Hable or their customer service, with 30 mins training with Hable included, the process was faultless. How did I ever manage without it?! Excellent value, well made and lightweight. Highly Recommended!

Real product that really works

I am a person with (partial) Blindness/Visually Impaired, writing this review for fellow BVI community members and their loved ones. I am a user of this product and can fully attest to the impact of this product. They can ship it to customers throughout the world; it supports both iPhone and Android and most common languages as well as Grade I and Grade II Braille. Customer service is outstanding; I literally just enjoyed a half hour call with the inventor of the product, who I believe is also the CEO of the company, free of charge via Zoom, to help acquaint me with the device. They answer emails and WhatsApp messages directly. They have incorporated many hours of product design and testing in focus groups with community members into the design and functionality of the device. It works as advertised. It also is priced incredibly advantageously for an article of assistive technology. It is compact, durable, and light. The Hable as a device is a significant help for navigating one’s smartphone in the Sighted world. When combined with a Bluetooth earphone, it enables navigation of one’s smartphone without needing to even handle said smartphone. Which means, if one is like myself and lives independently in an urban setting, I am able to fully utilize my smartphone without having to either expose my iPhone 15 Pro Max to the elements or broadcast to anyone who might be watching The Blind Guy as an easy mark that I’m carrying a coveted $2k piece of technology on my person. It’s incredibly easy and intuitive to use the Dot 6 keyboard commands to control my iPhone. They also have mapped the Braille alphabet to the alphanumeric keyboard as we would expect (dots 1 and 2 map to the letter b, for instance), allowing direct keyboard entry of text using Braille; this makes writing significantly faster and more intuitive than using hunt and peck via VoiceOver on iPhone (or equivalent on Android). It understands Grade II contractions, the numerals, and punctuation. In sum, this is a legit product from a legit company that legitimately works as advertised, is supported by excellent customer service, and is priced very attractively. Highly recommended for nearly any member of the BVI community.

Hi Feek, Hable one was purchased as a gift for my blind son, who uses it both in his private life and at work. He is a professional transcriber and also tests and reviews news for the blind. He is very happy with Hable, the only thing missing is Czech so that he can use Hable to its full potential. His friends are also very interested, but for now the lack of Czech prevents them. Do you think something could be done about it? Thank you in advance for them.

Hable is the most portable, easy to use Braille keyboard. You turn it on and start typing -- no menus to navigate and no waiting for a bluetooth connection to decide it is ready to work. No matter where you are, you can type in midair, no table no desk necessary, which Is why I had to purchase a second Hable One, as I lost my first one at paddling practice. It fits right in my pocket, which I apparently did not zip. Love my Hable!

The Hable 1 is an incredible little smart phone keyboard. It allows you to do everything you want want on your smart phone without the frustration of trying to manoeuvre between screens and do different taps and swipes, and is ideal for anyone who finds navigating their smart phone difficult. Texting and messaging our so simple and an absolute pleasure. Now, instead of letting the whole world here when I am dictating a message or an email, or trying to type on the horrible little on screen keyboard, I can privately, accurately and independently write my messages with the same privacy that is taken for granted by Sighted users of a smart phone or tablet, but lost to me as a completely blind person because everything is on VoiceOver. The Hable 1 is the size of an iPhone eight or slightly smaller, with chunky comfortable buttons. It is held in the air in the position you would hold a sandwich before you give it a bite, LOL. The research that has gone into producing this controller is incredible because within moments of holding the Hable 1 in this position, it becomes totally intuitive and comfortable, your fingers automatically resting on the right keys. Within a few minutes of picking it up for the first time, you will be able to navigate around your phone and type. It is so so simple and great fun!

The Hable 1 is a new best friend that I could not do without and now that I am so freely using it, I don’t know how I managed without it! For me, as a completely blind person, it unlocks my smart phone to me and I am able to use functions that I had never been able to master when using VoiceOver or tapping. And it’s such good fun, don’t underestimate the fun side of it, it is so satisfying! Always at my fingertips! Thank you, Hable 1 for producing an item that meets so many of my needs. The follow-up support and customer care is 2nd to none with no query being too small and responses and solutions given freely. Very happy customer.🥰

To be honest, I expected more.
Tis controller generates an unpleasant noise.
Besides, it slows down the interaction with the phone.

Bravo Hable one.
