These stickers have a good texture for visually impaired users. The biggest feature is they are engineered specifically for the kitchen and laundry room and are listed as heat resistant and water safe. They are not supposed to peel or lose their tactile height. Hopefully this is the case but only significant use and time will tell.HOWEVER, the device that was used to cut around each sticker during production (so they can be removed from the sheet and used) was out of alignment in a number of cases. In a number of cases I have concern some of the stickers will not hold well as the cut lines nip the edges of the raised stickers. The stickers I received are really not up to my expectations compared to images in the listing where all of the sticker cut outs are lined up perfectly (see my comparison pictures). My rating would be higher without this issue but are a conditional 3 stars dependent on performance. [2.5 stars]

I also found them low profile enough that they do not draw much attention once installed.There is a learning curve in remembering which symbol corresponds to each appliance function, but that would be true of any tactile labeling system. Overall, these stickers appear well made and provide a convenient way to add tactile cues to existing appliances without permanent modifications.

Nice set of stickers that are useful for those with visual impairment. These are just like regular stickers but with raised edges, borders for the tactile feel so that you can mark appliances and other items for the visually impaired to locate.
