A hand holding a frosted food container in a freezer with a thin SpeechLabel QR code sticker on the lid, while a smartphone is positioned to scan it.
A hand is shown lifting a steaming, wet glass food storage container with a white plastic lid from a dishwasher rack. A square 'Speechlabel™' thin QR code sticker with a black code, an orange-to-pink gradient border, and "Speechlabel™" text is affixed centrally to the wet lid. Water droplets cover the container and sticker. In the background is the open, steaming dishwasher interior with clean white plates and a cutlery basket, and a brightly lit kitchen window.

Dishwasher Safe & Freezer Friendly

Our labels are built to withstand both freezer temperatures and regular dishwasher cycles. They stay firmly in place and can be reused every time you store different food. For the best hold, apply the label to a clean, dry surface and let it set for 24 hours before use.
Two people scan the same white cabinet using their smartphones, each detecting a round red-and-white Speechlabel™ sticker placed on the cabinet door. Both phones display the result and speech bubbles show the audio output: ‘Living room cabinet: vinyl records.’ The image demonstrates how Speechlabel stickers can be used by multiple devices to share the same identification.

Works fully in the cloud

You decide if you want to save labels locally or in the cloud. It's easy to share your labels with others at home, work, or in your organization. Even when you switch your phone, your labels will stay with you.

FAQs

How do I use these stickers with the Speechlabel app?

Just download the free Speechlabel app on your phone and scan a sticker. After scanning, you can record a voice message or type a short description. The next time you scan the same sticker, the app will instantly play back or display your saved information. It’s quick, easy, and designed to be fully accessible.

Do these stickers work on Metal?

All the Barcode stickers work on metal, NFC stickers generally do not work.

What are Aztec stickers?

Aztec stickers are advanced versions of QR codes, specially designed for fast and reliable scanning. Unlike QR codes, a camera only needs to capture about 10% of an Aztec code for it to work, making them perfect for quick, accurate scans. This makes them especially useful for blind and visually impaired users, since you don’t need to perfectly align the sticker with the camera. They’re small, powerful, and optimized for accessibility.

Do I need internet to use SpeechLabel?

Yes. You need an internet connection to create new labels and to scan labels made by others.

Do the stickers stick to frozen packages?

The stickers do not adhere well to cold or moist surfaces. Make sure the surface is dry before applying the sticker; otherwise, the adhesive will not hold on frosted surfaces.

Do NFC stickers work in the freezer?

Yes, most NFC stickers continue to work even in freezing temperatures.

Pro - Product is app based
Pro - Does give user options in terms of labeling, specifically laundry labels.
Pro - Above average communication between buyer and seller.
Con - Excessive lead time for product arrival. Preorder or not
Con - NFC labels are nothing special and replacements can be purchased elsewhere in larger quantities and at a lesser cost
Final review: Only significant difference between already available products is that it uses an app. I would not recommend this product in its current state

Great easy to use product

The starter pack came with an assortment of different NFC and QR labels. Very easy to use the accompanying mobile application to add audio recordings to the labels. These recordings can also be shared with the public so anyone else with the mobile application can scan your recorded label to hear what has been saved on it. Works great in officers or buildings where multiple people could make use of a single label.

I've been waiting for an affordable labeling system for a long time, and this one definitely fits the bill. The Starter Pack gives a good sampling of what is available, and the app is easy to use.

And, for the first time in forever, I now keep my vitamins labeled and easily identifiable. ☺

I will definitely be buying more of these labels in the near future.

Confusing at first

It was a bit overwhelming to see all the different types, but the app guide helped. Once I figured out which sticker is for what, it was great.

Highly recommended

If you are new to Speechlabel, get this. It let me test if the NFC worked better for me than the QR codes (it did!).

Good mix

The laundry buttons alone are worth the price. The stickers are a nice bonus for the kitchen.

Best way to start

I wasn't sure what I needed, so this pack was perfect. I found out I love the laundry buttons and the thick stickers the most. A great sampler.

Some items I don't use

I use the buttons and thick stickers, but I haven't found a use for the thin ones yet. I might give them to a friend.

Everything in one box

Good variety. The thin stickers are plenty, but I wish there were more NFC tags in the starter pack. Still, a good deal.
